A
Acceptance
End negotiations by agreeing to another trading party's Firm Bid to purchase
or Firm Offer to sell steel at a stated price and under stated terms.
If you accept a Firm Bid or a Firm Offer, you are obligated to complete
the negotiation.
Associate Account User (AAU)
A company-assigned trading user with an access level of 0, 1, 2 or 3.
Approval Queue
A list of Inquiries or Offers submitted by Associate Account Users at
Level 1 that are waiting to be approved by Associate Account Users at
Level 2 or above.
B
Bidder
A user who engages in trading by responding to an Offer or Inquiry.
Business Type
The type of business activities in which a company is engaged.
Inquiries Approvals
A list of Inquiries created by a company's Associate Account Users at
Level 1 that are waiting to be approved by the company's Associate Account
Users at Level 2 or above.
Buying History
A list of a user's completed (i.e. accepted, rejected or expired) negotiations
to buy steel.
Buying Negotiations
A list of a user's ongoing negotiations to buy steel.

Company Account
An account for a company that offers full site access and the ability
to buy and sell steel. A designated representative of the company must
establish a company account. Additional company representatives can
be added.
Company Account Information
All relevant information about a company, including the list of Associate
Account Users.
Company Buying (Negotiations)
A list of a company's ongoing negotiations to buy steel.
Company Buying History
A list of a company's completed (i.e. accepted, rejected or expired)
negotiations to buy steel.
Company ID
An identifier for a Company Account used for login by all users within
a Company Account. The Company ID is defined by the Primary Account
User during registration.
Company Selling (Negotiations)
A list of a company's ongoing negotiations to sell steel.
Company Selling History
A list of a company's completed (i.e. accepted, rejected or expired)
negotiations to buy steel.
D
DUNS Number
A Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number is issued by the Dun and
Bradstreet Corporation to identify businesses in automated files.
E
Expiration Date
Date beyond which an Inquiry, Offer, Firm Bid or Firm Offer is no longer
valid.
Expire
An Inquiry, Offer, Firm Bid or Firm Offer that has passed its date of
validity and can no longer accept Firm Bids or Firm Offers from other
iSteelAsia.com users.
F
Firm Bid
Respond to an initiator's Offer or a seller's Firm Offer with different
terms of negotiation. This is binding and cannot be withdrawn.
Firm Offer
Respond to an initiator's Inquiry or a buyer's Firm Bid with different
terms of negotiation. This is binding and cannot be withdrawn.
H
Holding Company
A parent company for the company registering on iSteelAsia.com.
Holding Company ID
A Corporate Identification number for a parent company.
I
Initiator
A user who creates and submits an Inquiry or Offer.
Inquiries to Me
A list of all Inquiries created by other iSteelAsia.com users that fit
a user's Selling Preferences.
Inquiry
A non-binding request to other iSteelAsia.com users indicating an interest
to buy steel based on stated terms.
Items Awaiting your Action
Items Awaiting your Action: Any negotiation that is ongoing to which
the other trading party has responded and is awaiting a response.
L
Levels (User Levels)
Access levels for representatives of a company. User Levels affect the
user's ability to view, create and submit trades.
Level 0 (Associate Account User)
User with the ability to view Inquiries and/or Offers targeted to them.
Level 1 (Associate Account User)
User with the ability to view Inquiries and/or Offers targeted to them,
as well as create Inquiries and/or Offers for submission to the company's
Approval Queue.
Level 2 (Associate Account User)
User with the ability to view Inquiries and/or Offers targeted to them,
create Inquiries and/or Offers, Firm Bids and/or Firm Offers for submission
to iSteelAsia, negotiate and complete trades with other iSteelAsia
users, approve Inquiries and/or Offers in the Approval Queue, and
view
Buying and/or Selling negotiations and History.
Level 3 (Associate Account User)
User with the ability to view Inquiries and/or Offers targeted to them,
create Inquiries and/or Offers, Firm Bids and/or Firm Offers for submission
to iSteelAsia, negotiate and complete trades with other iSteelAsia
users, approve Inquiries and/or Offers in the Approval Queue, view
Buying
and/or Selling negotiations and History, and view Company Buying and/or
Selling negotiations and History.
M
Material Description
All relevant information regarding a product under negotiation, including
quality of the product, the product's chemical makeup, and any standards
which the product meets.
Mill of Origin
Mill in which the steel under negotiation is created.
N
Negotiation
Engage in trading with another iSteelAsia user.
New Approvals
New Inquiries or Offers that have appeared in the Approval Queue since
the user's last login.
New Firm Bids
New firm bids that have been submitted for ongoing negotiations since
the user's last login.
New Inquiries
New Inquiries that have been submitted and which meet the user's Selling
Preferences since the user's last login. These are part of the Total Active
Inquiries.
New Offers
New Offers that have been submitted and which meet the user's Buying Preferences
since the user's last login. These are part of the Total Active Offers.
New Firm Offers
New firm offers that have been submitted for ongoing negotiations since
the user's last login.
News Preferences
User-created choices that define the user's choice of news categories
to view in the iSteelAsia News section.
Notification Preferences
The user's choice of email notification messages to receive, including
immediate notification of negotiation activity, new offers and inquiries
daily summary of negotiation activity and daily summary of all new Offers
or Inquiries targeted to the user.
O
Offer
A non-binding request to other iSteelAsia.com users indicating an interest
to sell steel based on stated terms.
Offers Approvals
A list of Offers created by a company's Associate Account Users at Level
1 that are waiting to be approved by the company's Associate Account Users
at Level 2 or above.
Offers to Me
A list of all Inquiries created by other iSteelAsia users that fit
a user's Selling Preferences.
Origin
Location in which the steel under negotiation is created.
P
Password Hint
A phrase, statement or question that will offer the user a hint to help
them remember their password.
Preferences
User-created choices that define the user's account information, the
company account information, the type of business activities in which
the user's company is engaged, with whom the user wishes to trade,
what type of steel the user wishes to trade, and the user's choice
of news
categories to view in the iSteelAsia News section.
Primary Account User (PAU)
Senior company representative and Company Account administrator. The
PAU can edit Company Account Information, and can create and modify
Associate Account Users who can trade on behalf of the company.
Product Detail
The type of steel product being traded.
R
Reference # (Inquiry/Offer/Negotiation)
A number assigned to each individual Inquiry, Offer or Negotiation.
This number can be used to track the progress of an Inquiry, Offer or
Negotiation. Reference number is a term used to refer to the number
for any of the types of Transactions that exist in the Trading Center
(e.g., Inquiry, Offer or Negotiation).
Registered User
An iSteelAsia user who has completed the registration process and
has login access to the site.
Rejection
End negotiations by turning down another trading party's Firm Bid or
Firm Offer. If you reject a Firm Bid or Firm Offer, you have no obligations
to the other party.

Selling History
A list of a user's completed (i.e. accepted, rejected or expired) negotiations
to sell steel.
Selling Negotiations
A list of a user's ongoing negotiations to sell steel.
Steel Dimensions
The length, height and width of the steel product.
Subscription Account
An email address is all that is required to establish a Subscription
Account.The user will receive iSteelAsia regularly.
T
Targeted Companies
The types of companies with which a user wishes to negotiate. The user's
Inquiries and Offers will be sent to all Company Accounts that meet
this definition.
Targeted Countries
The countries with which a user wishes to negotiate. The user's Inquiries
and Offers will be sent to all Company Accounts that meet this definition.
Total Active Inquiries
All active (unexpired) Inquiries received by a user, including New Inquiries
received by the user since the last login.
Total Active Negotiations
All ongoing Buying and/or Selling negotiations, including negotiations
initiated by the user and negotiations created by another iSteelAsia
user.
Total Active Offers
All active (unexpired) Offers received by a user, including New Offers
received by the user since the last login.
Total Approvals
All unapproved Inquiries and/or Offers in the Company Approval Queue,
including New Inquiries and/or Offers submitted to the Approval Queue
since the user's last login.
Total Inquiries
All Inquiries created by a user that are no longer active.
Total Inquiries Created
All Inquiries created by a user that are either awaiting negotiation
or are currently under negotiation.
Total Negotiations
All negotiations entered into by a user that are no longer active.
Total Offers
All Offers created by a user that are no longer active.
Total Offers Created
All Offers created by a user that are either awaiting negotiation or
are currently under negotiation.
Trading Center
The central location for entering into iSteelAsia trading-related
activities. The Trading Center allows a user to quickly view and gain
access to current and historical Buying and Selling activities. The
Trading Center is specific and unique to each user, and the user's
access
is determined by their access level (e.g., Associate Account User Level
0, 1, 2 and 3 and Primary Account User).
Trading Preferences
PAU-created choices that define the type of business activities in which
the user's company is engaged, country of the user's company and what
type of steel the user wishes to trade.
U
User ID
A user identifier used for login.
User Preferences
User-created choices that define the user's account information.
