August2, 2000	iSteelAsia.com announced a partnership with Systek Information Technology (Holdings) Limited, a leading e-Business enabler. SYSTEK's Internet product -- ezConnect with customized features was installed by iSteelAsia.com at the end of July. iSteelAsia.com would use ezConnect to enhance the online customer relationship management in order to improve the quality of customer service.
August10, 2000	iSteelAsia.com announced the Group's first-quarter results for fiscal 2000/2001. The Group registered an 86% increase in turnover. Membership has grown 47% in the first quarter to over 2,000 while transaction postings have surged 125%. The Group's investments were used to improve the functionalities of the platform technology, brand building, Website launching and strategic alliance strategies. In the future, the Group will continue to bring online services along the steel supply chain in order to consolidate iSteelAsia.com's position as a dominant steel vortal.
August10, 2000	iSteelAsia.com selected iLink Global, the first-to-market provider of comprehensive global shipping and e-logistic solutions for e-business, as its shipping and logistics provider. iLink Global will supply iSteelAsia.com and its members with its e-logistics technology and services, which provide, capture, transfer and update the information such as landed cost calculations, shipment details, service provider procurement and management, tracking details, analytical reports, freight bill auditing / payment and administration.
